Some how the first one gives a feeling of being weathered and rustic, that isn't present in the newer one with the sharper lines. The way some artists make their work look old, like a sepia tone to a black and white photo.
I like them both.

I tend toward the First for the same reason as Gabby pointed out...it just looks like a weathered abandoned wagon on the side of a trail.

But as said...both are very good cuttings!
