I've never had music playing when I'm using the scrollsaw....I never thought of it. But I used to always play music if I was painting my cuttings to sell at craft shows years ago.
I'll have to dig out my old walkman, or get an MP3 player (like all my kids have)

It all depends on the mood I am in as to what I watch/listen too. I have a stereo system with radio/cd and I can hook up my iPod or laptop and listen to country music. If I want to watch TV then I have Cable or DVD with Surround Sound.

I listen to believe it or not opera. My son is an opera star who sings in opera houses around the world. It has been great because he has brought us with him to London, Paris, Strasburg, Vienna, Dresden, Berlin, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Rome, Naples to name a few. He sings in the US and Canada as well. At first I did not like it but now it is great.

I used to sing with the "Met"!
But the neighbors finally called the police and I had to turn down the stereo and shut up!

Wonderful for you to have such a talented son!

I can not live without music, I served as an inspiration.
I love 60's rock this way.
80% I hear music in English and other Spanish music.
Ami I do not like ranch style, merengue, salsa, cumbia, I prefer to sing myself to hear something like that
