The wood used to make the bowl shown on the March page for the 2011 Woodcraft calendar is....drum roll....box elder.

I work at a trucking company, and one of our drivers identified the wood, winning a $25 gift certificate to 8 By 10 Woodworking.  He used it to buy a name plaque for his home.

I had forgotten that you had identified it before him, so I'll have to give some thought to what you should win.  I sort of like Greybeard's idea....that won't cost me any money.
