Some more projects....
« on: February 10, 2011, 01:21:43 am »
I made the "I love you" box for my wife and then added the clay inlay that Steve uses.  Turned out really nice.  Box is made from 1/4" poplar instead of a solid block like Steve had for the pattern.
The collapsible bowl is made from 3/4" maple.  Maple is a pain in the rearend to cut, but it turns out beautiful when you are done.

For an ol' seadog you sure a 'romantic' feller!

Box should be a hit with any woman, especially hand made for a wife!

And I have to hide this picture of the bowl from my future Daughter In Law or I will have to make one too!

Very nice pieces!

I never really wanted to grow up....All I wanted was to be able to reach the cookie jar...and play with my DW 788
