difference between pine and Mdf

In this project I used pine, but I have to choose it very well because that is sold here in Mexico is too hard, whereas the MDF I use regularly is lightweight mdf country here is imported from Chile.

En este proyecto utilic? madera de pino, pero tengo que escogerla muy bien pues la que se vende aqu? en M?xico es demasiado dura, en cambio el Mdf que utilizo con regularidad es mdf ligero aqu? se importa del pa?s Chile.
