It's to cold in the shop

To make any sawdust which has started me thinking what do Ya'll do when it is to cold to be in your shop making sawdust?
(Were snowed in at my house, I have a bad case of cabin fever)

No Problem!

I just produced some designer firewood in my wood shop - I would send it to you...

oh - my shop is in the basement. I have a electric heater in there, makes it comfortable within 15 minutes.

I have not been at the saw, too cold in the shop. Good news we are moving in the summer, and I will get the whole basement.  We don't have a basement at our current house.

I am in the same situation, haven't been in the shop for awhile. I have been to busy plowing snow. I have a lot of patterns printed out and ready to go. Hang in there, according to the groundhog we have six more weeks of Winter, If you believe that.

I just put on more layers and tough it out.  It really only gets into the low 30's here though.
When I lived in Chicago I had a kerosene heater in the garage that worked pretty good.  After an hour I was in jeans and a T-shirt.

I got a buyer for my propane heater and he is picking it up in the morning.

Tomorrow afternoon I will purchase a larger one that puts out 18,000 BTU's so that should warm the whole garage and make it comfortable to work in.

Of course in a week I will not have any wood or money to buy it 'cause i will be broke buying propane!

Why the hell did I get into this crazy hobby/addiction?!?!?!?!?

I am fortunate enough to have the spare room in the house to use for my hobby. Central heating all year round if needed.

Scrolling in the basement to and central heating.
although sometimes I use a electric heater

My shop is currently unheated so obviously I'm not working there.  The other picture shows how I am getting some cutting done.  Finally, the reason that I'm not going anywhere.

My shop is heated so the cold doesn't really effect me, plus there is no snow here in Florida.  8)
