Puzzle Cube Solution

Hi Steve:
I did the cube puzzle as it comes from the pattern.
I was more than an hour trying to set it up, I finally realized that a piece should not be according to the pattern.
I changed the piece just so I could finish it.
My question is:
Am I wrong?
Are there different ways to do a puzzle?
I send you photos of the bucket over and I hope to guide me as to whether the design pattern was OK I was wrong.

Hice el cubo rompecabezas tal  como viene en el patr?n.
Estuve m?s de una hora tratando de armarlo, finalmente me d? cuenta que una pieza no deb?a ser de acuerdo al patr?n.
cambi? la pieza  s?lo as? pude terminarlo.
Mi pregunta es:
?Estoy equivocado?
?Hay varias maneras de armar un rompecabezas?
te env?o las fotos del cubo terminado y espero me orientes para saber si el patr?n de dise?o estaba bien y o me equivoqu?.

I do believe that there are several versions of the puzzle cube, and they can have more then one solution.
