Not a bragg
« on: February 23, 2011, 01:28:36 am »
This is the Sheila Landry Solaris bowl constructed, it was no easy task as I had not done my conversion from lineal to metric properly and the slats were to thick and had to be sanded down, it would have been easier to re cut and plane the wood, over all a worth while project that keeps you on your toes, give it a go, I will certainly be making this project again

Yeah!  This should definitely be a brag!  So what if it didn't go off without a hitch?!  You still pulled it offf nicely!  I guarantee I wouldn't have been so successful! ;D

Nice work, looks like a tough job. It still needs to be in the Brag Category.  :)

You did a great job, Jimbo!  Your joinery on the slats look wonderful.  I know it is not an easy project, but these baskets certainly do look nice when finished.  I am happy you succeeded in the conversion and that you got them all to work.  I am happy you put the final pictures here and they certainly do deserve a 'brag'!  Thanks!

Looks great....you can't even tell that you made a mistake and had to do all that sanding.  Don't be afraid to brag, you have every right to.
