i found a new way to attach the hangers to projects without having to fight with the little nails or using a hammer. i dont no if any one else tried this but it works great . i use the 5 minute epoxy from the dollar store. i squeeze aliitle bit out of the tube mix it apply it to the hanger and attach it. no more fighting with little nails

and the epoxy is really sticky to the wood? nice!
the nails - I drill a (bit smaller) before I insert the nail. I'm concerned to break the wood otherwise. most times I can press the nail in, no need to hammer.

You can also use the nailless sawtooth hangers. They will work on 1/4" ply. Just tap them in and you are done.

I use Gorilla glue to hold sawtooths on to small work other then that I use A pair of needle nose pliers to hold the little nail while I use a little tac hammer to pound it in. Works for me.

I DRILL A HOLE IN DELICATE CUTTINGS AND THEN WHEN READY TO INSTALL HANGERS JUST FILL THE HOLE WITH SUPERGLUE AND CAREFULLY PUSH THE NAIL IN AND LET DRY. BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET IT ON YOUR FINGERS.
