Hello from Germany
« on: January 02, 2011, 06:09:06 am »
Hello!

I'm new to the hobby - and new to this forum.

My name is Torsten, I'm living near Munich in Germany and I'm 35yo.

I did woodworking since quit some time and want to take it to a new level (at least for me...). Also I ran into this over of my local dealer for a Scroll Saw - couldn't resist  ;D

regards,
Torsten

Ist sehr sch?n geworden, hast du Sperrholz genommen? Das Geweih gebeizt?
Spielzeug ist immer eine sch?ne Sache, es gibt einige seiten wo du dir kostenlos Vorlagen runterlden kannst.

It looks very nice, is it plywood? have you staind the antlers? To make toys is always greate, you find some sites of free pattern wich you can download.

thanks, Rus.

@ heiko
Yes, it's simple birch plywood - the head is a tripled 8mm plywood, the back is doubled.
It's hard to find the right wood in Germany, this i got from Hornbach - their wood is far better than the others.

regards,
Torsten
