Would you believe.  Went to the pantry and not a black-eyed pea to be found.  So much for this year.

Forget the black eyed peas and go coastal instead.  I smoked some fish and made a batch of smoked fish spread for ;D New Years!  It went really well after the gumbo!

Carry black eyed peas and dried cabbage in my wallet.  Peas for luck and cabbage so my wallet will always have money in it.  I change it out every New Years.
