Consumer Product Safety Comission

Does anybody have a current and comprehensive idea about the Comsumer Product Safety Commission and their position on testing toys? I have been talking to a few folks and trying to find something on line and have just gotten a lot of conflicting info! Can we make and sell untested and undocumented toys or not? Help!

I think there were some forums on this topic over on Etsy.com, about selling things you make. They may be helpful.

The last I heard was it had been stalled until 2012.  I'm still making and selling kids toys.  if in doubt leave em unfinished, or get the msds from the manufacturer of your finishes.

Junk is something you've kept for years and throw away three weeks before you need it.
