I have found that the same blade type. Cuts different. I have had a blade in the saw. Broke it and put a new blade in and it felt like it cuts different? Am I nuts or can this happen. I know I may still be nuts..
I know what you are saying. Sometimes when you have been cuttting with the same blade for awhile and get used to it, then change to a new one of the same number and make, it feels different.
I think that it is one or two things that do it. First, you now know what a SHARP blade can do for you.
The old one was getting dull but you didn't notice that it was getting harder to push because it was easier to control and it was so gradual of a change, you just got used to it.
The other thing that I have noticed, especially when doing alot of corners and tight turns, you can twist the blade in a way that makes it want to drift right or left, and again it is such a slow and slight change that it is easy to get use to. So you keep cutting until it breaks!
NOW you have to retrain yourself using a new sharp, untwisted blade to let the blade just do it's work!
But, not to worry, you will soon twist that blade and dull it until it feels like the old one.
Untill it breaks........
