I suspect craft shows and the like aren?t for me. First, in preparation for the show, I spent a couple of months making things that I thought would sell, rather than things I was in the mood to cut (my bad, I know). Then, being worried that I wouldn?t have enough things for the show, I turned down a couple of end-of-season golf dates. Insert heavy sigh here.
So, I go to the Christmas Bazaar with 7 clocks, 3 shelves, 5 crosses, 1 Nativity scene, 34 ornaments, and 10 cutting boards (still convinced I didn?t have enough). Invest in a nice cover for my table, built a fake wall to display those things that hang up, make signs and stuff, etc.
I spent 10 hours at the Bazaar and sold 3 cutting boards, 1 clock, and 1 cross. Didn?t sell any ornaments because the guy to my left was selling handmade ceramic ornaments for 50 cents each.
So, back to just enjoying myself.
