2011 Texas scrollsaw picnic

Doesn't look like there is going to be a picnic for 2011 in North Texas this year. Last year was a little slower than the previous year and vendor committment is not there for 2011. Maybe 2012?  Bobby

I think the economy is effecting every thing. I see it daily. Sorry to here that about the picnic.

I'm sorry to hear that.  I haven't gone the last 2 years since I moved south but had planed to go this year.

Information on the 2011 picnic is still up on the Dallas/Ft. Worth club website. And the September meeting minutes say they decided to go ahead with it. Maybe there is newer info than that?

Yea it should be in the Oct minutes. We really wanted to go ahead but had to cancell. We will wait and see about 2012. Bobby

I talked to Lyndal and he told me that the person who does the website is gone for a few days.
It is cancelled. They hope to have one again sometime.
