GB, I truly enjoy helping my fellow scrollers, and I truly enjoy you keeping us entertained! I don't expect anything in return other then hearing someone saying thanks for the info.
I tell my students what works for me may not necessarily work for them. So if one would rather top feed or bottom feed is up to them. But at least try it . I started on a  Dremel 16" which is not a top feeder. When I got my DeWalt it was easy for me to top feed. I did not have to re-learn, it just became a natural thing to do!

:-[Oh I feel so dumb  I had no idea what you all were talking about being a bottom or top feeder until this discussioin about the ez Lift came up.  I guess I am a bottom feeder as my saw came with the lift.
I made a special device to turn the knob on the bottom since I have no feeling in my right hand, so I couldn't be a top feeder.   Yep I am like a cat fish...a bottom feeder. ;D

I ordered the EZ Lift Saturday directly from Jim Dandy after seeing Wildwood wanted more (not much) and couldn't find in the Woodcraft catalog.  I mentioned Woodcraft to the lady who answered, and she told me they hadn't carried their products for some time now, and that Jim Dandy should probably get the mention off of their web pages.

Yesterday (Sunday), the lady called me back to be certain she had written my address down correctly.  I was surprised by a Sunday call, but glad to know she was being thorough!

After reading the replies here, I am going to give the video another look, I just might purchase this item.  As many of you know, I am a newbie and have been trying both bottom and top feeding.  I have not cut enough yet, to make a final decision on style, but I will say one thing, I am really enjoying my new hobby.

Sorry Vince, that is and OBJECT and falls under the PATENT laws.

By the time you get the patent application thru the process we will ALL have an 'easy lift'!

Russ:  My bubbles were burst years ago, my house is like a slip and slide. But I get places faster, if I don't bust my back side first. LOL
