Male Sensitivity
« on: October 12, 2010, 04:17:28 pm »
Hope this hasn't been around before.

The room was full of pregnant women  with their partners.  The class was in full swing.  The  instructor was teaching the women how to breathe properly and was telling the  men how to give the necessary assurance to their partners at this stage of  the pregnancy.

She said "Ladies, remember that exercise is good for  you.  Walking is especially beneficial.  It strengthens the pelvic  muscles and will make delivery that much easier."  Just take several stops  and stay on a soft surface like grass or a path.

She looked at the men in  the room and said, "Gentlemen, remember -- you're in this together --  It  wouldn't hurt you to go walking with her.

The room suddenly got very  quiet as the men absorbed this information.

Then a man at the back of the  room slowly raised his hand.

"Yes, answered the instructor.

"I was  just wondering if it would be all right if she carries a golf bag while we walk??

This kind of sensitivity just can't be  taught.

Dan.....
When I worked in downtown St. Louis I parked in a garage that had a 'farmer's market' on the street level. 10 years of passing thru there twice a day I got to know some of the vendors pretty well. One was a woman who had a flower stand and she got in the habit of stopping me about three or four times a month on my way home. She would just hand me a rolled up newspaper page cone with flowers in it. Her only comment would be "Your're due!" and I would go on my way and present my wife with unexpected flowers.
I never had to stop and pay the ol' girl 'cause she knew I was in a hurry to get home. Then all of a sudden she would stop me unexpectedly one evening and hand me a piece of paper with the amount I owed her. It was never questioned and and I always paid her immediately and added a nice 'gratuity'.

Too bad I caught that wife having an affair with one of the dentists she worked with!

Oh Well!!!

No Dan...that dentist was a close associate of her father's!
The dentist I made the plaque for is about the same age as my youngest son!
