A recent project using Coyote Stencil Shop 2.0
« on: April 21, 2010, 12:57:31 am »
One of my sons at the lake last summer

The stencil (anyone may use if they wish !)

A few results trying some different plastic filter paper as background...

Any thoughts, comments, recommendations or advice on finalizing this project??

Put in a frame and remember those moments. They grow up fast.

Great work on your pattern and finished piece. I've never made my own patterns before but after watching a tutorial by Steve using the Coyote program it looks somewhat simple to use. I plan to purchase it very soon.

Looks GREAT!!  I have the Coyote Stencil Program and have used it MANY times to turn photos into scroll patterns.  They always turn out nice.

Very nice.  Is it easy to use the program and is it worth the money?  I have never seen anyone use it.

I guess the thing to look at is this: The ease of using the software and how often am I going to use it. Whenever I consider purchasing anything whether it be a tool, software, etc I always try to justify the reason for getting the item. If it is something the I will use over and over again and at the same time make the process shorter and easier, then the price will justify the means.

in response to cherie's comment......

the price of the program seems reasonable, and from steves tutorial video it looks pretty simple to use. simple and easy is what I like, cause I'm not to good with high tech stuff lol. here's the link from steves blogspot with the coyote stencil tutorial (hope its ok to post the link, if not I'm sorry).
