Thanks for the comments. I only had Walnut & Pine on hand so thats what I used. Didn't have time to shop around. I finished it with Watco natural stain & clear poly. I don't plan on drinking out of this one so I didn't let it cure like it should have.

Even if you can't drink out of it, you can put a can inside of it. That way your hand does not get cold and no condensation.

I had to vote for my mug. Honestly it was not my favorite. There were some nice looking mugs displayed. Congrats to the winner whoever it turns out to be. Keep up the good work. Thanks for the pattern. Mike
