"Rascals" update....

After a long overnite bus trip from Marion, IL to Traverse City, MI the Rascals gave it their best shot but went down 5 to 3 to the Beach Bums.
Game two - Thursday evening at 7:05....

This should be a battle to the finish since the clubs had almost identical records during the 2010 season.

Keeping my 'netbook in my lap and watching the 'play by play' on Pointstreak.com is like the 'old days when they did the game off the Western Union 'ticker' but it keeps me up to date but on pins and needles!

One last advantage...once we come home Sat. then we have THREE home games!

Rascals lead 5 - 0 - top of 6th...
Scored 4 runs in top of the 5th inning after 2 outs!

Game THREE Saturday night ... Rascals leading in the fourth when the skies opened up and didn't stop raining until this morning.

Game Three will be resumed at 4:00 today and after completion Game Four to follow tonight...

The River City Rascals of the Frontier League won their First ever League Championship on Sunday. After losing the First game of the five game series the Rascals came back strong to sweep the next three games for the championship.
It was accomplished as the season was accomplished...every player did their part for the wins truly a team effort.

Unfortunately GrayBeard was not able to attend due to an illness that kept him confined for the last several days.
Feeling somewhat better today I am attempting to get busy and get out of the house!

Thanks for all concerns and good thoughts!

Now to place my ticket order for next season!

Way to go Rascals. I bet you are celebrating right now. My wife was sick all weekend also, same stuff. She went to work but is on her way home now. I just hope I don't get it. Hope you get to feeling better GB.  8)
