Multi Function tools from Harbor Freight!!!
« on: September 04, 2010, 12:26:54 pm »
Received this today a.m. > > >

I have no idea how good or bad they are but I like the idea of that 'pneumatic' one for my shop. Might have to stop there tomorrow and check it out!

20 bucks is not bad. I buy somethings at HF. It's cheap enough, so if it breaks, throw it away and buy a new one. I have 2 palm sanders I bought from there, and haven't had any problems at all. I think I paid $10 each. Still in use today. P.S. Ed, I sent you a message. Dave 8)

I have bought a cheap on, works well for me.
look if you can mount "general" blades because some brands sell cheap equipment but "mandatory" expensive  blades witch can't be mounted on other machines.

It looks like a nice tool. I'm with Marcel on the assessory part, have that happen to me once.
Let us know what you did.

I have wanted to try one of those. I go by the quote "caveat emptor" when I buy from Harbor Freight.  8)

that's the nice part...I have the compressor setting right next to ol' Yeller!

It is the first thing I plug in when I set-up the shop for work and so easy to switch tools...

you need to make sure you have a compressor and tank that can power the air tool you are going to buy. the one in the add you are looking at requires 16scfm @ 90psi for sanding.that is a lot of air.your compressor will tell the rating of what it can handle.i've got a random orbit sander by dynabrade and my compressor can't keep up with it.

Bring that sander over to my house and you will have to chase it around the neighborhood!

I have plenty of capacity for the 'multi tool' if it is a viable item.
