I didn't figure you'd be going David... kind of a far drive... and a wet one at that.  ;)

LOL. Don't think I would have gone if it was closer, to many people and to much noise for my grey matter to handle. Enjoy yourself, you deserve a break after all you and yours recently went through.

The kids were bugging me to take them for the longest time so I told them yes.  I paid for it all too... tickets, hotel, everything... non-refundable.  We are fortunate in the timing that we are able to go.  Seems like whenever I have concert tickets, someone winds up seriously ill.  Makes me paranoid to ever buy them again.

I'm not a huge fan of all of the music but I like Thousand Foot Krutch.

Out here in Arizona we have something similar but for country music, it's call Country Thunder and it is 4 days of all day country music. We usually buy spots in the camping area there every year and spend all 4 days in the sun listening to top county artists perform.

The kids had a blast!  I mostly sat around but it was really good to see them have a good time after all we went through this summer.

They want to go EVERY year.   :o
