Is it my PC or is something wrong with this site? Takes minutes to go from one post to another? Danny :-{

YEP!
Very slow this a.m.
Steve is aware of the problem and is working on it!
He is also laid up with tendonitis in his right arm and hand so is taking time off and will get to the issue as soon as he can. (read the Monday post on the BLOG)
Meanwhile use the time to re-fill your coffee or tea or read the paper. We've been experiencing this for a couple weeks now and are just riding it out.
A slow forum sure beats the he}} out of NO FORUM!!!

Those of us who are 'regulars' are noticing a gradual 'upsurge' in the posts by those who have not been posting much and we are happy about the new traffic.
Unfortunate that it comes at the same time Steve has trouble with the 'server'.
One minute it is blazingly fast and then the next it is super slow but it will be resolved.
Just keep visiting and posting!!!

As far as I'm concerned, this is the worst it has ever been!
I'm not complaining now, as you said "better than nothing at all" but, it really is alot slower than I have ever had to contend with before.

I'm working with my hosting provider. I have a message in to them so hopefully they will come up with something soon. Thanks everyone for hanging around.

Hey Steve/Boss!
NO RIGHT HAND mousing or Keyboarding until further notice!
We are keeping everyone informed and we know you will do everything in your power to resolve the situation.
Just rest and ICE that right arm...you may have to pitch soon!!!
You guys think the forum is slow? I just inherited a laptop that has only 1/2 gig of memory (2001 Compaq Presario!) to clean out and try to get running faster!?!?!?!!?
I may be at this all night it is so sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!!!

RE: Compaq Presario....
Just called the customer and told her I am dumping the whole thing and re-installing Winwerz!
Wiping the HD and starting from scratch!
Taking forever just to reformat the Windows partition of the HD!
20 minutes and only 29% formatted!!!
Gonna be a LOOOOOOOOOOONG nite!

Yes it is still slow this morning. Steve is aware and working on it. Take care of your arm and hand Steve. That is the most important thing right now.
