I wonder what it would look like if we used other stuff for the backer board.  Like say that flooring that looks like rock or something.  I dunno... just thinking out loud.   ::)
Its good  to think outside the box. You never know till you try it! :D

This is my version of Albert.  I used quarter inch Oak and stacked cut 3 layers.  All came out real good.  Made many frames from Pine....  :+}

Both are very well done.  Thanks for sharing.  Sometimes seeing a pattern finished prompts some of us to go ahead and cut it then.  I know it does me.
