I am a novice woodworker and I have had Scrollsaws for years in my workshop, I have just never taken the time to really get to know them. This winter is my winter of scroll-sawing in the shop. I'd really like to be able to cut out simple 3d ornaments. But, based on the pile of scrap wood I have created it's obviously harder than it looks. See photo.
Right now I'm alternating between a Craftsman "Commercial" scroll saw and a Delta 40-440 Jig Saw, that has a leaky lower plunge shaft.
I guess I'm off to a rocky start.
