The Stick People...
« on: March 13, 2018, 11:01:20 am »
...are cracking me up.

Has anyone made any of these patterns?   Using plywood or...?  Any thoughts or suggestions?

I'm currently in the middle of a bigger project but am looking forward to getting at some of these soon.

I think quite a few people have made some of these.
I made the basketball and the rock band for my 5 yr old
grandson because he plays basketball at the YMCA and
likes to sing and act like he's playing one of my guitars with me.
He really strums a real guitar but, can't play chords YET.
God Bless! Spirithorse

I’m out of the shop now recovering from Shoulder surgery but the Golf Cart in today’s presentation is going to be one of the first items I do when I’m well enough.
Give it a try —

I cut the people out of 1/4 maple, table out of 1/4 BB and the "Champion" out of 3/8 cherry. All scrap hanging around.

I bought a Table Tennis table for my wife for her birthday a couple of years ago.  I played a lot when I was a kid and every once and while I loose a game as I don't hit winners.  Next time I have a trophy for her.  Lot of fun for 2 oldies.

I am working on the hockey players stickmen using 1/4 inch Baltic birch. I like birch ply as it is very strong in all directions, finishes well and blade follows the lines quite well. I have the stick chess patterns for my next project

Go to www.stevedgood.com/catalog/

Search for Stickman and you should be busy to many days.

I believe they are meant to be the "pawns" that are the front line of each side in a chess set up.
