I spent the last 60 years in Iowa (LeMars - Ice Cream Capital of the World). Retired last fall and decided to move south - to Lincoln, Nebraska. It's still cold and snowy here, but love Lincoln.
I've been doing woodworking for most of my life too, but recently ran across scroll sawing and just love it. When I was working at my day job it was a way to forget about the problems of the office for a few hours. Now that I'm retired it's been a real joy to make items. I'm looking at opening a store on Esty.com and will be hitting some craft fairs soon to see if I can make a few bucks - before my wifes finds me a job!!
