Looking forward to having a lot of fun with my new Dewalt scroll saw here in Downey, CA. Does anyone know of any good trade or craft shows that I can check out in the Los Angeles area. I understand most shows are in the Midwest or East.

Welcome to the group Rod.  I don't know of any local shows in the coming months. They seem to be few and far between in the last couple years.

I think most shows and clubs are in the Midwest or East. That will not stop me. I just bought a Dewalt and it sure is nice to work with a scroll saw that is easy to use. Anyway I will keep looking for some shows & if you hear of any just drop me a line.

Rod you may wish to look into the possiblity of scroller groups, guilds, etc in your immediate area.  Most larger metropolitan areas have them.

Rod, Welcome to the group. As far as craft shows, try contacting schools and churches in your area. Here in Ohio, that is were most of them take place. Most are around the Holidays. Past experience tells me to stay away from Flea Markets as people go to them to buy junk for very low prices. It is usually difficult to get your table money back at them.... have fun, Jeff in Ohio
