Thanks Steve, always nice to hear from someone who is actually using the saw. I'm pretty sure you're right about the guy from Woodcraft. He might know how to run a saw, but that doesn't make him a scroller. As you mentioned, a tiny slot in a heavy cast iron table isn't going to cause any problems, so I'm wondering if he even tried it out, or just looked at it.
Also, the extra blade holders that he says will run into so much money, that's just crazy. As you said, they send 3, and you don't really have to have any extra if you don't want. Think he was just looking for an excuse to not have to carry something new, since they already carry at least the DeWalt and Excalibur.
Sure hope it holds up for you. I've about decided to wait until after the first of the year, since I really don't need any more business deductions this year, then buy one if reviews show that people are happy with theirs. That will give me time to sell a few of the 7 saws I have, as it's getting pretty crowded in the shop. I'd love to hear back from you toward the end of the year, to see how it's working out.
