Man Kills Self Before Shooting Wife and Daughter
This one I caught in the SGV Tribune the other day and called the Editorial Room and asked who wrote this.
It took two or three readings before the editor realized that what he was reading was impossible!!!
They put in a correction the next day.

When I was at work, I would read the daily paper before I started. I would quite often point out the goof ups made by the reporters and the editorial staff.

This is not one of them, but a comedy sketch done by Benny Hill always stuck in my mind....

What's this thing called love?

By adding a comma at the right spot, it changes it completely, and of course, Benny Hill made sure that it was well understood. If you knew Benny Hill, then you know he had a sordid sense of humour.

What's this thing called, love?

Thanks for sharing your headlines with us.

Dave.
My parents must have been psychic, as a child they were always telling me to 'Cut It Out'. So they knew a long time ago that I would become a scroll saw artist.
