Pattern request
« on: May 12, 2015, 10:45:32 am »
Hi Folks,

I make this request for two patterns for our scroll friend Rigo from Belgium.
He has some trouble uploading pictures to the forum and so I'll make this in his behalf.
Both of his parents deceased (his mom in 2011 and his dad 09/2014) and now he wants to make this patterns for his brothers.
I know there are some great pattern makers out there, so if some of you would be so kind and make Rigo two great patterns.

Pictures are in low resolution because of the forum 128K limit.
if you need I can email you bigger pdf files, let me know.
But probably this pictures are good enough.

TIA.

Marcel

Marcellarius,

The reason your photos were deleted was because of the forum storage issues.  Please see this topic:

http://stevedgood.com/community/index.php?topic=18490.0

It will only be a matter of time before these are deleted as well.  Russ is not picking on anyone in particular - it's an across the board rule now.

Take a few moments and review that topic.

Karl

Marcellarius you need to read this... Its been posted since  March 13, 2015 and the reason the pictures are deleted.

New Rule For Posting Photos For Pattern Makers

Since there is limited space for Photos here on the forum I think I have a way that we can help but I need everyone's cooperation and understanding as to what we need to accomplish.

As of today if you want a pattern made from a photo, make the post and state/type " I have a photo I would like to have made to a pattern. Any pattern makers willing to help please respond either here in the post or in a PM (private message) your e-mail address and I will e-mail you the photo". But Do Not Upload A Photo.

You don't have to use those exact same words, I hope you understand my message/example.

This will help with the limited data storage and it has it's bonuses. You will be able to send the pattern maker a larger photo through the e-mail and the pattern maker can send you a larger pattern to use.

I think this is a win-win situation. We can all do our part to help Steve out and it will help the forum. I hope everyone understands and cooperates. It maybe an inconvenience but will help with the data storage usage and we may not be forced to use an outside source.

Just to make this part clear, if you make a pattern and want to share it with the forum members you can still upload those. We are only talking about the pattern requests (portraits) from a photo.

Thanks,
Russ

Good ones Mahendra.

Since the photo ban I've been having a hard time getting back to the forum, and making patterns has become more of a chore. But if that's the worst of my problems, I guess I doing fine.

Thanks Ray :). I have given my email twice to our friends here so that I can attempt their  requests but only two of our friends responded.

They came out good Mahendra, as usual. I don't know what I would without you and the rest of the pattern makers.
