My name is Phil Daniel and I live in Hemet California. I have 25 years experience using a scroll saw. I am getting ready to start a scroll saw class at our church (Hemet United Methodist) where we have a program called "Home Away From Home" for at risk kids. The school kids come to classrooms at 2:30 each day and work with tutors (if needed) to complete their school work. They are in the classroom from 2:30 until 4PM. At 4PM they get involved in sports programs until 6PM. Currently we have about 60 school age kids up through junior high.
I have 4 scroll saws I will be using in my class. As you are aware, this class will teach the kids a useful hobby along with keeping them from getting involved with the wrong crowd.
Would you be able to donate a full set of DVD's with all of your patterns to the class? They would go a long way in providing the kids with simple to complex projects they can work on in my class.
