My first Schwibbogen.
« on: December 19, 2014, 06:21:56 pm »
:o Since I am of German Decent having a grandfather and father who both did carving, painting and carpenter work it was about time I stepped up to the plate. What an interesting concept. I spent some time up in Stillwater Mi., this past summer and visited a shop filled with simple and more complicated Schwibbogens.  Here is my very first attempt. Lighting is such an issue when photographing.

Very nice.  Be careful though.  Making schwibbogens can be habit forming.  I know.
