I am cutting some patterns out of 1/4" BB just wondering how many I can stack cut.

I haven't used 1/4" before.

I believe you could probably cut 6 and take your time so as to not have the blade deflect.  You might consider cutting with 4 to begin with, then go from there.

Test on scrap first to be sure and to give you a feel for stack cutting.

Also If you've already cut 3/4" then you'll have no problem with 3 stacked.

Thanks Karl, I have stack cut 4 pieces 1/8" is the thickest I have done

It really depends how intricate your pattern is.  I would not stack any deeper than 1 inch.  I don't really like cutting really thick pieces.  The only time I cut that thick is when I am cutting a 3-D pattern.  If there is a lot of turns in your design, do 3 or 4 at the most.

When I do ornaments I stack cut 5 of 1/8" pieces or 4 of 1/4' pieces - Happy Scrolling.

Speaking from MY experience.... 90% I cut with BB....  1/8 is comfortable with stacking ....4....  Five works, but that bottom one tends to have lots of tear out here and there.  1/4 BB I am still very Good with only 2.  Three will work, but that thick to me is pushing the blade.  Will dull faster.  Safe than Sorry I say.  Everyone has their own proven ways, but this is mine.  Danny  :+}

I like to stack 4 with 1/4" BB Ply. I usually use blue masking tape to hold them together while cutting - try to place the tape so you don't cut it off while cutting the outside of the pattern. Use reverse tooth or crown tooth blades to keep the bottom piece clean.
