An elderly woman was taking driving lessons..The instructor asked her."At a four way stop sign.Who has the right of way...She responded.."Thats easy....the taxi driver does of course"....

Silly me.  I always thought the person with the largest vehicle had the right-of-way.  Goes to show how little I know!!

FYI:  I live in Iowa (central USA).  I've had ONE ticket in my life.  That was for Failure to Yield in a fender bender.  Was in the Army, stationed in Chicago at the 5th Army Headquarters.  The year was 1961.
Whenever I renew my license, the person behind the counter always calls other staff members to look at the blank Driving Record screen.  I don't think Iowa kept/or stored records that far back.
