Mini Vase by Steve Good

Hi everyone, I made the mini vases.
The flowers are made of silicone and heat gun.
The vases are made of solid wood in the center and on the sides of 6 mm plywood.
For this reason I could not pass through the router, because the plywood can be broken.
Hope you like the work and advance thanks for your comments.

Those look great Frank. They would make great place setting for a formal dinner I would think. Thanks for sharing these with us.

Those are very pretty. Can't get my mind around how you did the flowers. Never heard of that before. Great work.

Nice work on the vases Frank, I route the edges of Baltic Birch a lot and it just seems to add to the piece .
But I want to know more about the flowers

Muy Bueano Senor!! Fantastic concept. Since no one else has "guessed" at how you made your flowers, let me give it a go:
Put silicone on a sheet of glass. Warm it with a heat gun to flatten it into a sheet. Carve petals with a kitchen knife. (If need be, turn the glass over and reheat just enough to release the silicone from the glass.)
How far from your process am I
?
