Attention Canada- Vera is here

Yes I can confirm that the Canadian Air force last remaining Lancaster Bomber "V Vera" flew over my house about an hour ago and has now safely landed at RAF conningsby a few miles away.

Although a shame as the intention was for it to meet up with its UK sister and the rest of the Battle of Britain memorial flight, just off our coast , and then be escorted by the Red Arrows to do a fly past at Lincoln cathedral. Due to bad weather conditions that did not happen, oh well she's here for 6 weeks, so maybe tomorrow.
And what about that lucky git on board the canadian craft, a civilian who paid ?43.000 GBP to occupy the only spare seat for the duration of the tour-if only

Hi Dave, we will be having a visit from the very same LADY on the 6th and 7th of September at the AIR show at Prestwick, Or Glasgow Prestwick as they call it. Don't know why as Glasgow is twenty odd miles North of Prestwick. Anyway Dave I'm looking forward to the show.

Terry would LOOVE to be there to see her. He said if he had a spare  $86,000 he wouldn't mind hitching a lift on her.  We are off to Canberra at the beginning of September and we will go to the War Memorial Musium, they have a Lancaster there inside, but unfortunatly no one is allowed on board.

If Terry ever gets that $86K, the next best thing is to bring him here, "just Jane" is down at east kirkby, although grounded you can still go on her for taxi runs
