This is a Rose I made for My Dear Bride for our Anniversary.  Woods are Western red cedar and a scrap of something for the leaves.  Hand rubbed gel varnish.  Second time I have done this.

Thank you all for the nice comments.  This is the way I do intarsia.  I try to make it look as real as possible.  Of course this, most of the time, requires recutting a part.  I don't sell what I make so that is one advantage I have.  I have all the time in the world to finish.
