Oops - Can't take credit for the design Frank.  I found the pattern in June 2003 issue of Creative Woodworks & Crafts page 16 by David Wedoski

Brian that is brilliant, must say that the contrasting "oriental style" frame really sets it off. I have found that this sort of fretwork both oriental and asian is very popular, hope you dont mind I have snatched a copy and converted back to a pattern.
any body want it?

Brian,  Very nice job of cutting.  :-)

Dave - I would be interested in a copy of the pattern.
