Lambretta scooter
« on: January 28, 2014, 01:36:43 pm »
Requested by my sister for a friend's 60something birthday. Two friends in fact, so I stack cut two of them. Thanks to Daveo for the pattern. Also thanks to Malistar22 and Dennis by way of Grandpa for two more patterns that I will be cutting later.
(Should that be Grandpa by way of Dennis?)

Nice job. The scooter and the text both look great. Do they have a color to them? The backer could match the scooter color.

Ray, I think the lettering should be red, it seems to be the Italian way. My sister is picking them up tomorrow so I may not get chance to do anymore to them.

A relative gave me a broken Vespa when I was 13. We took the front wheel and the rear engine+wheel and mounted on an old minibike frame and had a 3-speed minibike that would pull a wheelie faster than was safe. Life was good.
