Amateur (Ham) radio plaque
« on: December 26, 2013, 10:17:16 pm »
Using Sue May's design I added my amateur radio (Ham) callsign to this plaque for my ham radio shack. It is made from 1/4 inch tiger maple. The cutting nearly maxed out the depth of my Dewalt DW788. I decided not to frame it. I pasted construction paper of different colors on the back. I may change this to felt, because i think construction paper fades with age.

Very nice!  I have several customers that are HAM operators and have been since the mid 50's.  Thanks for sharing this with us.  It gives me some ideas for them :)
