Janet. You are a very caring person. We need more like you. My wifes step-father was diagnosed with cancer about 10 years ago. He had 2 daughters & a son. Well when he became non-ambulatory, it was my mother-in-law, my wife, myself, and an organization named Hospise that were there to take care of him. Never did his children ever stop in to see him. Until the end, the night he died. We were there to care & do what we were able to do. We never expected a thing in return. We did it becaused we loved him. Well you can guess what happened next. Like a bunch of vultures. The day after he passed on, here they came, demanding this & that. They thought they were going to come in and take charge. Well lo and behold. Bill had seen what was happening. And he made his wishes know to his attorney. My mother-in-law & my wife were in charge of the funeral, and his kids were sent packing. Sad when you think about it.
