Little Girl Christmas
« on: October 21, 2013, 01:13:02 pm »
This is a Steve Good Pattern.  Cut from Oak, Curly Maple and Maple Ply.  The colored balls on the ends of the tree branches are colored plastic beads.  The whole thing was given a light coating of shellac.

Nice work. Looks beautiful. I was thinking about making this same pattern. Now maybe you have encouraged me to do so. I like the ornament touch on each branch. Thanks for sharing.

We all think differently ... I was thinking of enlarging the pattern and doing it without the little girl for a centerpiece....BB ply with spray of white paint & glitter.

Will post when I get it done.

You beat me to it.  Have the pattern and was gonna cut it....and still will....  I also like your touch of color with the beads.  GB your idea sounds Great.  Might think about this some more.

Nice job as always!  I made a couple of these this weekend out of cherry.  They came out very nice.  I wasn't as creative as you.  Didn't think of the balls for the end of the branches.  I am thinking of making more as tabletop decorations for our Woodcrafter's Guild Christmas party & dinner.
