In God We Trust
« on: October 23, 2013, 12:10:05 am »
I got the pattern idea from our "sister" forum.  My favorite part of this was the ultra thin reigns and the "In God We Trust" at the bottom.  I was looking for something cool for the bottom, and it just work out.  I was born in 1967, so that was neat too.

Threw the bonus wood piece into the pic as I thought that turned out nicely.

Very cool! The detail is fantastic. Do you sand any of the cut edges?

Wow!  Your ability to cut such a small object and being a penny is amazing and having the Pattern come out looking so Good.  How bout a Video on this?  Would be Great to Watch.

Danny, I've done plenty of pennies, but in this case, the coin is a 50 cent piece which is quite a bit bigger.  Some of this could be reduced for a penny, but stuff like the reigns would about disappear at that size.

Looking at a pattern, it isn't always obvious if it can be scaled down until you try it.
