Some Financial Advice for all you Nice People
« on: October 09, 2013, 08:52:38 pm »
My wonderful wife and I are married 51+ years.  A couple of years ago, we bought 2 burial plots and a headstone at a NE Iowa cemetary.  WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY !!   We have money tied up in that investment, and it hasn't done us a darn bit of good.

Learn from the mistakes of others and save your money.

Haven't made any plans on that, too hard just planning what I want to do today. ;)
I love the smell of saw dust in the morning.

As a former boss said, "Why buy a cemetery plot? When is the lst time you saw a corpse laying in the gutter?"

Sell it. Maybe you can make a buck or two.

Think of the stress you have saved those who would have had to make your decision for you. At least you have what you wanted :D

My wife and I have done the same thing and it makes me happy in two ways.
On the serious side... I'm happy that it will save our children some stress and worry as well as money.
On the lighter side.... Every time I think about the grave site, I'm happy that it is still empty.
