Tool Review- Craftsman 14" Bandsaw
« on: September 24, 2013, 06:21:08 am »
I had a request for this one. Also I am just scrapping the idea of these videos being in a certain order, I think they drag on and get quite boring. Thank you all who have stuck with me though and watched. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SR9diUGBFoQ&feature=c4-overview&list=UULAxz24dFceU8bIyUf_SQDw

Thanks for the review. I can tell you like and get a lot of use from  your band saw. You have pushed me over the edge on buying. Now play a little waiting game and catch it on sell. Do you have deferent size bands for cert  jobs or different types of wood. Thanks again for taking the time to make this video.

Good one boys.
You should know that your videos are not at all boring for us in the scroll saw community. For myself, I'm very impressed with your work and make a point to watch each one. Keep up the good work.

I was given an old (1956) Craftsman 103 bandsaw (12" throat, 80" blade) that was in storage until earlier this year. When I got it out, there were some small parts missing (rollers and bushings around the blade guard). I was able to find the manual on-line and order replacement parts using the Sears part numbers. Pretty amazing - almost 60 years old, but still has parts available.

I hope you get a good long life from your new saw.

Thank you for watching. The only blades I have are a 1/4" blade that came with it and the 1/2" 3tpi blade I bought from Timberwolf for resawing.

Thanks Ray! Sounds like a nice saw you have.
