Looking for patterns of static steam engines
« on: September 16, 2013, 11:32:35 am »
I think the only one I have seen so far is the hit and miss engine on here, but no pattern and the pic is corrupt when I try to download it. Can anyone help out? I am looking in particular for a beam engine such as these: http://tinyurl.com/koupnyt

BTW, the green and red ones in the first couple of rows are a plastic Airfix kit. I have one about 3/4 finished.

Thanks,
Martin.

Martin hi
I cant help with the pattern, but as far as corrupt pics when downloading is concerned, I often find that if you right click on the image and then "copy image" then open your graphics package, right click and "paste" gives much better resuts

So am I Martin. I'm of the age when we still used steam engines. Wonderful things. I'm certain some of our superb patternmakers in the family wil come up with something. Good luck.
Rob Roy.
