Swap meets and flea markets are not the place to go.   People at these events have a garage sale mentality & want really low prices.  Try local farmers market.  Dress up your display with table covers.  Try some risers to place your items on different levels.  Nice signage and clear pricing and a big smile.   Good luck in future try's.  Don't give up holiday shopping is just around the corner.
You have a nice variety of items.

I totally agree with dunk.  Your display is way too overwhelming to the eye. Try a smaller display in a better venue.  Be proud of your work and your display. Don't just throw everything you have out there.  I never mix in anything other than scroll work.

Take a look at the pictures from others shows.  There is a point where having too many different things out will cause the potential customer to start overlooking things.  As Dunk has stated swap meets are not the ideal place for sales of our kind of work.  You had a lot of great looking items out and as Judy has suggested there is no need to put everything out all at once.  Might wish to explore the craft shows that the churches put on.  I know in my area at least there are several that have a 2 year waiting list to get in.  Well worth the wait when there are 2,000 to 3,000 potential customers.

Hey Ralph,  I understand the frustration.  Pick and choose your shows carefully.  You have a lot of great stuff there.  I finally quit doing shows and found a few places to sell for me.  Look for small businesses that will take your goods on consignment.  Crosses and angels in christian book stores, spiral bowls and misc. in private pharmacies,  desk do-dads in stationary shops, etc.  If there is a artsy district near where you live,  see if portraits and unusual stuff can go there.  It takes a little footwork, but is well worth it in the end.  They always sell for more in these places than they do at a show.

Craft shows is the best place for this, flea markets, swap shops people are looking the cheapest best deal they can get. In the pictures it was hard to see what you have, looks like alot, might take and show your best projects, but have some other stuff behind you in boxes to pull out and say I also have this as well, if make multiples take one and put out on table as a show piece but then have your inventory behind you to sale so the table is not cluttered.
