Play Ball

So, I've been trying to practice using a spiral blade.  I think that my very old scroll saw might be working against me on this one.  Of course the wood I'm using to practice with me also be playing a part (1/4 in. pine 4x6 slats).  Anyway, here was another try at originality.

Nice work, the wood can work against you, clear straight grain wood works best.

nice work, I can't get used to spirals, my cuts are like spirals when i use them  ::) ::)

I always look forward to seeing your work.  Always so interesting!  I really like this one....I'm a big baseball fan (Detroit Tigers).  The spirals seem to be working for you!

Looks good, I like the pattern. Many times I go back and forth between spirals and flats in the same project, you just have to plan a little.
