Down on the couch....
« on: March 22, 2013, 07:10:46 am »
bad luck...
Wednesday I did a hard cough while walking. :o
had one foot in the air and just as the foot touched the ground my back hurts real bad.  :(
end of the day I called the Doc and got some diclofenac.
physiotherapist said 2-3 days flat on the couch.... and he gave some exercises
next step (Sunday) is little walks and only standing....
so NO sitting!!!  >:(
so next to not be able to go to work, this means no scrolling.... :'(
Monday back to the physiotherapist.

Sorry to hear that!  I had an odd thing happen with my back a couple of months ago. I just stood up and "Bam!" it felt like a knife went into it!  I could barely move in any direction for a couple of days.  But it did get better and I hope it was a fluke.  Take care of yourself and try to not do much of anything and let it heal.  Hopefully you will feel better really soon.  (Once mine felt better, I am back to "normal" so I hope that happens with you too!)

Take care, Sheila  ((HUGS)))

Marcel, sorry about your back--been there done that--I have recently discovered that a good massage really helps my back--I am tired of going to doctors who just give you a pill and say to rest for a few days--any way I hope all is better in a few days--Best regards, Richard

I hope you get well! back issues are a real pain to deal with.  ;D As an expert on the issue don't try to over do when you think this has passed. give it time to heal.

Marcel, I know exactly how you feel, mine goes regularly, most times when I fall over and I do that 2 - 3 times a week. Hope you feel better soon.

Do what the doctor says Marcel and stay on the couch. Hopefully you will feel better in a few days.

I know how you feel Marcell,I'm still getting little twinges. The best thing you can do is DO AS YOU ARE TOLD. Take things easy for a while and behave yourself.LOL Hope it clears up soon. Best wishes.

NO sitting or bending.....
Sounds like Nude Week at Marcel's place guys!

I have thrown mine out to the point I couldn't even get my undies on for several days...spent time on couch or bed only in my robe.

Take 'er easy, pal....

I feel your pain. My back was out last year and I remember it all too well. It will take time, so take it easy.

Just do as you are told and rest, everything will still be waiting for you when you are back on your feet.

thank you all for the nice words and advise.
doing a little better, but not as much as I would have liked.
I moved over from the couch to a mattress on the floor.
the couch wasn't long enough to lay really flat.

@ GB...... nude week ? ? ? ?  ::)
maybe this was to much information    :D :D
I've got pictures now,   ;D ;D ;D
luckily my wife helps me getting dressed ;)
(if I had to do it on my own I probably would do the same)

the wife and kids are really busy taking care of me.
next to the pain and not finding a comfortable position, the hard part is the asking for everything you need/want.

just lay here with the laptop on my belly is only durable for 30 minutes or so, so catching up with reading the topics will have to wait i guess.

@ Heiko, I have to changed it.....  ;)
